Sunday’s praise and worship was a quite a moving experience as well, the praise dancers did remarkable, the choir sang divine and our sermon by our fearless leader Cuzzin Will “We are family…ain't that a Blessing” brought us all to tears. But the best part of the reunion to me was chatting with my cuzzins because I love to be around my family, laugh together and catch up. From Columbia SC to Cali, the Washington’s were in the house.
I assume the role of “Chairwoman of the Youth Activities Committee” and as promised this will be a forum for the youth where your voices can be heard. Many of you interacted all weekend with my committee members Syndi (lady in charge of “The Cipher"), Laina (lady at the park activities), Vonnie (souvenir lady) and Sheila (face painting lady) along with myself and we all are dedicated to making all our family reunions as memorable as possible, to include what you would like to do, and where you would like to go. So let your voices be heard.
So I’m calling out all my cuzzins from the north, south, east, and west to come forward and make this committee the best. Let’s make it happen.
First order of business will be to schedule a conference call meeting with all youth calling in and at the same time and electing officers to form an actual board of officers which will consist of president, vice president, secretary, and treasurer, which is exactly how the Washington Family Club is set up and President Obama’s administration…LOL.
So I leave it up to you cuzzins and await your response. Please If you are interested in being a committee member, officer, or just wanna stay in the know. We will exchange contact information and take it from there. Depending upon how many responses I receive from you all will show me if you are actually interested in forming such a forum or just leaving things as they are.
Either way if I have 1 cuzzin or 100 cuzzzins participating, I will give this my all or I love you all much and hopefully will hear from you soon.

Hey Cuzzins,
What’s buzzin, since we last met at the 50th Washington Family Reunion in Columbia Maryland last summer? Oh what a time we had, at Friday’s picnic we was "grillIn" and "chillIn" and the pool party was a blast,
Can’t forget “The Cipher 1” it was the best listening to all the kids do their rap thing and how about Saturday’s memorable banquet, everyone was dressed to kill.
We played bingo to the wee hours of the morning and “The Cipher 2” lasted practically all night.
